We just spent nearly 200 bucks to have our water heater's relief valve replaced (after the first one flooded our basement 2 days ago). Got me wondering...how important is that $200 (including an hour and a half of labor to wait for the tank to get up to temperature so the plumber can make sure it is funtioning correctly - don't get me started) piece of equipment?
See the following video for the answer. I think I'll go move my daughter's bed out of the line of fire now.
