A Western Adventure

We're having a great time visiting our family and friends out west this summer. This week we are in Arizona visiting my grandparents.
We spent today in Red Rocks Country.

We explored several Native American and Pre-historic ruins.

Deciphered various petroglyphs.

Ate lunch in Sedona, which Kendra REALLY enjoyed.

We also visited Jerome, an old mining town, turned ghost town, turned artist colony. Here are the kids in one of the old mining cars. I'm sure that it wasn't quite as charming in the early 1900's when it was used to transport workers over two miles into the mountain side, but it's a quaint little photo op now.

One of the best Bigley family road trips on record.

"For since the creation of the world God's invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that men are without excuse." Romans 1:20

Yeeaaah, that's right.
