Derek with the pistol is particularly cool/scary if you ask me (click on the picture to see the close-up...it's VERY believable).
After visiting our friends the McCollums in Purcellville, we headed over to the DC area to spend the rest of the weekends with some more old friends from Seattle, the Zs (I'm not using their full name just in case some bored paparazzi decide to Google them and end up on our blog).
Here are the beautiful Bigley girls downing some serious cinnamon rolls in the Zs new kitchen.
Isaac and Derek enjoyed reconnecting even though they no longer see eye to eye - HA! Get it? Oh, I slay me. We are pretty sure that Isaac grew at least a foot this past year.
Here is a photo of us with our wonderful hosts.
After breakfast Rob and Derek hopped in the limo with the remaining Zs (Jim was already at the field) to go to the Redskins game while Kendra and the girls began their new traditional "Girls-only Annual Christmas Shopping Trip". But first, the kids had to check out the limo.
The team owner foots the bill for the family's limo ride to and from the games. My boss hasn't gotten around to doing that for me yet...yours?
We took a lot of photos at the game and might eventually get around to posting some more. Until then, here's one of Derek during warm ups (the Zs got us pre-game sideline passes...VERY cool).
Even though the Redskins lost, it was a great trip...reconnecting with good friends and relaxing with the family, who could ask for more?
