Lancaster City

Hi Folks,

As many of you know, we have put our house on the market in hopes that God is directing us to move into Lancaster City (a mere 3 miles a way, but an entirely different world). So, I thought that I would share some Lancaster City Scenes with you on occasion.

Enjoy!

First...The Dancer's Workshop, home of the Lancaster School of Ballet (where Danika studies). It is in a 100+ year old warehouse.

Next...Central Market - the oldest indoor market in America! Here you see the beautiful facade, the inside of the Market, one of the Amish booths, and - my favorite PA Dutch item - Shoo-fly-pie!

Looks beautiful. Things here in Idaho actually look exactly like Washington. The sky is a dismal shade of gray and the ground is wet, wet, wet. The storm last night kept me awake for at least an hour. Whining aside, I'm excited for the Holidays. I'll bet it will be lovely in Lancaster. Make sure you put up some pics!

so this is trading suburbia for the city? i'd love to hear about the transition and how you arrived at this decision! (it was those cicadas falling from your backyard tree, dead as doornails, wasn't it?)
